John R. Bryan
John R. Bryan, 19, died unexpectedly early Monday morning at his residence, 805 W. 4th Street, Alexandria. Born May 21, 1951 in Kansas City Missouri, he was the son of William J and Evelyn Whatley Bryan. He had lived in Alexandria most of his life.
A graduate of
Alexandria Monroe High School in 1969, he was a member of the National Honor
Society and Mu Alpha Theta, mathematics, honorary. He also belonged to the
local chapter of the Order of DeMolay and the Alexandria Church of Christ.
Young Bryan was employed by Mac’s Standard Station in Alexandria.
Surviving in addition
to his parents are one brother, Ted, and one sister Diane, both of Alexandria;
and the paternal Grandmother, Mrs Edna Bryan of Brady Texas.
Final rites were held in the Karl M Kyle Funeral Home with Jay Guyer officiating. Burial followed in the Park View Cemetary.
