Biography: Jim was a graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School-Class of 1969.
He was a truck driver for Emge Co., formerly of Anderson and RG Transport, a division
of Red Gold in Orestes. Jim enjoyed fishing, gardening and woodworking.
His family and especially his grandchildren gave him a great deal of pleasure.

Funeral Service Time and Day:
A Celebration Service of Jim’s life will take place at 7 PM on Thursday-June 7, 2007 in the Owens Funeral Home, 412 North Harrison Street, Alexandria
Officiating: Pastor Randy Murphy-Cornerstone Community Church-Alexandria
Interment:
Cremation will follow the services with disposition of the cremains at the convenience of the family Visitation:
Friends may call at the Owens Funeral Home in Alexandria from 4 PM until the hour of services on Thursday
Memorial Contributions:
The family would like to thank the staff of St. John’s Medical Equipment, St. John’s Hospice and Dr. Brian Eddy. The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to St. John’s Hospice through the funeral home. Because of their love for gardening, the family is requesting live outdoor plants be given that can be replanted by the family in living honor of Jim’s life.
